Minister Jandroković opened the Croatian-Finnish Business Forum
Croatian-Finnish Business Forum was organized by the WTC Helsinki, Croatian Chamber of Commerce, MInistry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, and Croatian Embassy in Helsinki, at the premises of the European Commission on 5 October 2010.
Minister Jandroković in his opening speech presented Croatia as the atractive country for foreign investments and called the Finnish businessmen to strengthen thier cooperation with the Croatian partners.

Prime Minister of Croatia Jadranka Kosor visited Finland
Prime Minister of Croatia Ms Jadranka Kosor officially visited Finland on 13 April 2010. She met Finnish Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen, Speaker of the Parliament Sauli Niinisto and the former Finnish President Martti Ahtisaari and discussed the Croatian process of the EU negotiations, bilateral relations, regional issues and trade and economy.
Prime Minister Kosor also visited Micronova in Otaniemi, the main Finnish science and research center for nanotechnology, where she was presented with the overview of the Finnish science and innovation system, the linkage between high technology and industry, as well as with some Finnish-Croatian projects in the nanotechnology area.

President Tarja Halonen opened a photo exhibition by ten Ambassadors
The exhibition of photographs by ten ambassadors, among them the Croatian ambassador Dr. Damir Kušen, was opened on January 26 at the gallery of the Helsinki City Council. The exhibition titled "CD-PHOTO" was opened by the President of the Republic Tarja Halonen and the Mayor of Helsinki Jussi Pajunen. The support to the exhibition has been given by the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the leading daily newspaper "Helsingin Sanomat". With good media coverage, the opening was attended by several hundred guests from the Finnish political, cultural and business life.

Loreta Bertosa-Kusen, spouse of Croatian Ambassador, has been elected to the Board of Governors of ISH
The International School of Helsinki (ISH) has elected its new Board of Governors. Among them are two of our colleagues from the Diplomatic Community.
Mr. Philip Malone is Deputy Head of Mission (British Embassy) and Mrs. Loreta Bertosa-Kusen is the spouse of the Croatian Ambassador and a diplomat on leave of absence. The ISH is the biggest international school in Helsinki offering education in English. Students come from over 45 countries. The ISH is the only school in Finland that offers all three programmes of the International Baccalaureate (IB): the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP).
